The Edge of Chaos Collective (the "Collective") is a curated community for complexity thinkers, edge founders, and visionary builders operated by Pythia Capital, LLC ("Pythia Capital," "we," "us"). By joining the Collective, you agree to these Terms of Membership.
The Collective is built on the premise that the most transformative innovations emerge from the edge — where order meets chaos, where conventional frameworks break down and new coherence becomes possible. Membership is by invitation and intake, not by open application.
The Edge Founders Salon
At the heart of the Edge of Chaos Collective is the Edge Founders Salon — a sovereign gathering place for complexity thinkers, misfit builders, and visionary enablers. Not a pitch competition. Not a networking event. A living room for the people who belong here.
All Collective members share the Edge Founders Salon regardless of tier. Tiers describe your primary orientation in the Collective — the tools and support level that best match your current stage. Real life is messy: Enablers can have Explorer projects, Builders are always exploring. The honor system and Pay It Forward option allow you to move fluidly between orientations without rigid tier enforcement.
Membership Tiers
Explorers — Pre-MVP Founder Support
- For pre-revenue, pre-MVP founders at the most critical and vulnerable stage of building
- Early Access pricing: $25/month minimum
- Intake form required — a tool for understanding how we can best support you, not a gatekeeping mechanism
- Access to: Edge Founders Salon, coherence guidance, peer connections, and curated resources
Builders — Peer Ecosystem for Active Founders
- For founders actively building — in the garage, post-MVP, or scaling
- Early Access pricing: $67/month minimum
- Intake form required — for founders already taking action
- Access to: All Explorer benefits plus expanded peer collaboration, project boards, and deeper coherence support
Enablers — Catalytic Support and Strategic Resources
- For investors, ecosystem builders, advisors, and strategic partners who catalyze the edge founder ecosystem
- Early Access pricing: $97/month minimum
- Intake form required — Lynn Marie may follow up with a conversation to assess resonance and fit
- Access to: Full Collective benefits including the Edge Founders Salon, strategic collaboration, curated introductions, and direct engagement with Pythia Capital research
Tier Fluidity and the Honor System
Tiers describe your primary orientation in the Collective — not a rigid identity or permanent classification. An Enabler with an Explorer-stage project is still an Enabler. A Builder who wants to support another Builder's work is welcome to do so.
If you want to move between tiers, fill out the relevant intake form and make up any pricing difference through the Pay It Forward option. No forced subscription changes required. Just tell us where you are and we will support you there.
The Pay It Forward option is our honor system — a voluntary contribution beyond your tier minimum that supports fellow edge innovators who need access more than they need another barrier, and helps sustain Pythia Capital's ability to run this service. Every contribution helps keep the Collective alive and accessible.
LSI Coherence Reflection
Members who submit projects to the Edge Founders Salon or participate in project support are asked to make an honest attempt to reflect on their work through the lens of Living Systems Investing (LSI) principles — as described publicly at garden.pythiacapital.io/Framework.
This is not a test or gatekeeping mechanism. It is a reflection practice — a way of seeing your own work more clearly before inviting others to engage with it. Submit your LSI reflection to team@pythiacapital.io as part of your project intake.
Payment and Billing
Membership fees are processed through Stripe for recurring monthly subscriptions. Members manage their own subscriptions — including payment method and cancellation — directly through their Stripe customer portal. Pythia Capital never stores your full payment card details.
Additional voluntary contributions beyond your tier minimum may be made at any time through Pythia Capital's Pay It Forward payment link. These contributions are entirely voluntary.
Founding Member Rates and Grandfathering
Members who join during the Early Access founding period are locked into their chosen monthly rate for as long as they maintain continuous active membership. This rate will never increase for existing members in good standing. Rate changes apply only to new members and to members who cancel and later return.
A Living System: Service Evolution
The Edge of Chaos Collective is a living system. Like all living systems, it evolves in response to what is actually working, what the community needs, and what market conditions require. Pythia Capital reserves the right to restructure tiers, services, and pricing as part of this adaptive process.
Existing members will receive 60 days advance notice of any material changes to the service structure. During that period, you will always be offered the opportunity to transition at a founding member rate or exit gracefully with no penalty.
Intake and Acceptance
Membership begins with an intake form — a tool for understanding how we can best support you and how you can best contribute to the Collective. Intake is not gatekeeping. It is the beginning of a relationship.
Pythia Capital reserves the right to decline membership where values alignment is clearly absent, without explanation. This is rare and based on resonance, not credentials or financial capacity.
Community Standards
The Edge of Chaos Collective is a sacred space for genuine edge thinkers. By joining, you agree to:
- Engage with intellectual honesty and genuine curiosity
- Respect the confidentiality of other members' projects, ideas, and shared information
- Not extract, reproduce, or commercially exploit other members' intellectual property without explicit permission
- Not use the Collective for spam, solicitation, or extractive networking
- Honor the non-linear, complexity-embracing culture of the community
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all intellectual property you bring to or develop within the Collective. Sharing your ideas in community spaces does not transfer any ownership rights to Pythia Capital or other members.
Pythia Capital retains ownership of all framework materials, research, coherence methodologies, and Living Systems Investing (LSI) content. Community members are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use these materials for their own development — not for redistribution or commercial exploitation.
Pythia Capital takes IP protection seriously and will pursue legal remedies for violations.
Confidentiality
What is shared in the Collective stays in the Collective. Members agree not to disclose other members' confidential business information, investment strategies, or personal circumstances shared in good faith within community spaces.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time directly through your Stripe customer portal — no email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You retain access through the end of your paid period. Pythia Capital may terminate membership immediately for violations of these Terms, with no refund obligation.
Not Investment Advice
The Edge of Chaos Collective provides community, education, and coherence frameworks — not investment advice. Nothing in the Collective should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or investment. Members are solely responsible for their own investment decisions. Pythia Capital is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or placement agent under any federal or state law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pythia Capital's liability to any Collective member is limited to the membership fees paid in the three months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boston, Massachusetts.
